We are a firm of Solicitors which has been at the heart of the Stranraer community for nearly 70 years. Ferguson & Company started in the 1950's and, after rebranding in 2000, we are proud to continue to provide advice and assistance to the people, executors, farmers, companies and extensive business community within Stranraer and beyond.

We are a progressive thinking Firm with a substantial client base - and we work very hard to keep it that way. We endeavour to deliver an outstanding service to all our clients by establishing a close working relationship and aim to provide our clients with the very best legal advice and guidance. We aim to offer a fast and efficient service to clients either personally, over the telephone or by email.

We cover all areas of Scots Law. We offer a full property service and assist private individuals and businesses alike in the purchase and sale of residential, commercial and agricultural property. In addition to this we offer a full court service, providing advice on all criminal and civil court matters. Ferguson & Company conduct business in the Sheriff Courts of Stranraer, Kirkcudbright, Dumfries, Ayr and elsewhere throughout Scotland. As well as this, we assist Counsel in the Court of Session and Appeal Court in Edinburgh and the High Court of Justiciary in Glasgow.

Our offices are located above the old Clydesdale Bank right in the heart of Stranraer's town centre. Free parking is conveniently located to the rear of our offices at Hanover Square Car Park. Home visits are also available for those who are unable to attend an appointment at our offices.
